Frequenty Asked Questions

Can I add someone to an existing group?

You’ll need to make a new group that contains all of the users from the old group and the new user. You can think of each group like a separate “text chain” for a messaging app, where adding someone creates a new chain, and the new person doesn’t see all of the old messages. We did it this way so that we can base voting preferences for a group based on who is in the group historically–a three-person dynamic may have different preferences than a two-person dynamic, and so on.

Can I find something to watch by myself?

Yes! Streamigo was designed to help two or more people find something to watch, but there’s no reason you can’t do it by yourself.

Will you support more streaming services in the future?

That’s the plan! We don’t have a firm date or specific priorities for which services we’ll add to our catalog next yet, but if there’s something you’re looking for, let us know!

Do you support users outside of the United States?

Unfortunately, we currently only support users in the United States. The reason for this is that we want the data we show you to be as accurate as possible, and it takes a significant amount of effort with automated tools and hand-curation to sift through the 30,000+ titles available to streamers in the US (on just the services we currently support). All of these titles have varying availability per country (including many titles not available in the US), so while we’d love to expand our footprint to other countries, we don’t want to rush it at the expense of releasing something that doesn’t reach our standards.
